Deceptive Studios is an independent development studio located in the twin cities of Albury and Wodonga, Australia.
In addition to designing and developing games, Deceptive Studios develops software applications for Windows as well as websites and databases.
Jonathan has over 12 years experience in application and PLC development, database design and web development. The decision to branch out to games development came from his long lasting addiction to all the differing genres of games available. Be it small indie puzzle games to major MMO's, Jonathan has more than likely played it.

Backseat Monitor is a simple application used to monitor the usage of a companies computers. It lists the applications used and their usage periods. It doesn't store any detail about what they are doing, for example browsing the Internet would just list "firefox.exe" or "chrome.exe" not what websites have been visited. The application is used to monitor idle and active times of all applications currently running on a computer.
POPme! is an application used to download POP3 catch all email accounts and distribute them to their intended recipients. It is only used as a forwarding system and does not keep any persistent data of the emails. It will list a summary of the last 25 emails for logging purposes, including the sender, recipient(s), and email size, but the internals of the emails are not kept or listed.

A report is sent to a specified email address at a set time each day and the detail of the previous days activity is reset. Again, this email only contains information about what applications were running and their idle and active times. This allows for a company to monitor any misappropriation of computer usage in their company.

Old Coots is a tip to the old side-scrolling beat-em-ups where the story is always completely over the top, and old men chasing a young boy down for a smack is exactly what is missing. You will meet a beer guzzling father, a hyped up drug addled truck driver and a steroid induced muscle man through your journey from your swamp home all the way to the city where the boy has fled.

Created in the Unity 3D engine, Throne of Elements will be initially available for Windows and Mac.
